Tech Tip 021 – macOS – Disable Notifications

If you need some uninterrupted time while working on your Mac desktop, hold down the option key then click the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner of your screen. These lines should change color from white to gray. Option-click again to resume your desktop notifications.

Tech Tip 018 – Outlook Archive Bucket

Creating an Archive folder in Outlook allows you to store all processed emails in your inbox without having to delete and eliminate them. This will create a slimmer inbox, easier for your brain to focus on the new items to process. Should you need to access a specific email from the past, click on the Archive folder and use Outlook’s fairly robust search field to use key words or phrases pertaining to your email.
